We ride from Nepal into Tibet to visit the highest mountains on the planet!
On this World On Wheels motorcycle tour we travel through the highest peaks this world has to offer.
We pass in the shadows of Shishipangma 8,012m, Cho Oyu 8,210m, Makalu 8,463m, Lhotse 8,561m to finally arrive at the greatest of all, Mt. Everest 8,848m.
We commence in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu and take in the sights of this wondrous city, before heading to the border to cross the Friendship Bridge.
We ride across Tibet visiting Shigatse and Gyantse, spend a day in Lhasa exploring the spectacular Potala Palace, then strike south on a sensational highway of more than 100 sweeping curves to arrive at Rongbuk Monastery. A short side trip brings us to Everest Base Camp, before returning to Nepal and finishing back in mystical Kathmandu.

From the relative lowlands of Nepal we climb progressively higher, passing through several 4,000m and 5,000m passes into the very heart of the Himalaya. Peaks soar above 8,000m all around us.
The high, dry Tibetan Plateau is stupendously beautiful, as we traverse the highlands on our way to Lhasa, the 'Forbidden City'. We visit the sacred Buddhist citadel of the majestic Potala Palace, once the winter home of the Dalai Lama .
We venture south to arrive at Rongbuk Monastery and take a short side trip to Everest Base Camp, with the 'Mother Goddess of the Universe' standing tall and proud directly in front of us.
